Last week Brazos Valley Schools Credit Union donated a check for $3,690 to the Texas Nurses Association’s “Care for the Caregiver” initiative, following up on a promise made to their members after a recent auto promotion.
The credit union held an auto loan promotion during the months of May and June with a promise to donate $10 for each booked and funded loan. The end result of the six-week promotion was 369 new auto loans on the books.
“We appreciate the dedication all nurses in Texas have shown to their communities during this pandemic and it is our hope that these funds will help provide the resources they need to continue their mission in the weeks and months to come,” said President/CEO Yvonne Kershner. “We are very proud of our members’ enthusiastic response to our offer,” she added.
